Dermal Fillers

Specializing in facial plastic surgery and non-surgical rejuvenation procedures.

Facial fillers are substances injected beneath the skin to help smooth fine lines and boost facial volume. Typically, dermal fillers are a gel consistency made of hyaluronic acid which is naturally found in the body. Fillers can also be made with biostimulatory substances that not only add volume, but also stimulate your own collagen production.

Also known as dermal fillers, these injections are in-office procedures that are minimally invasive alternatives to cosmetic surgery. Patients often undergo facial filler injections to achieve a more youthful appearance with as little down time as possible. Fillers are available to target nearly any area of the face, including volume loss under the eyes or in temples and cheeks, augmenting the chin and jawline, or smoothing folds around the mouth. Masterfully placed filler can also plump the lips while still looking natural.

Did you know…

that non-surgical cosmetic treatments like Restylane and Juvederm are the fastest growing form of aesthetic medical enhancements in the U.S.? The American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports that millions of Americans receive filler annually.

Fillers also come in a variety of consistencies called “G-prime”. Higher density or “G-prime” fillers are used to enhance structure and volume such as in the cheek or chin. Medium density are often more flexible for the folds around the mouth. The thinnest density fillers are placed in delicate areas like under the eyes or in the lips. It’s important to choose an injector with an in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and these products.
